Metered Dose Inhalers (MDI)

The manufacturing line comprises high-speed PAMASOL filling heads imported from DH Industries, United Kingdom. This state-of-the-art machine is capable of filling 40 canisters per minute, from 14 mL to 19 mL We use an environment-friendly, CFC-free propellant (HFA134a) for the manufacturing of our inhalers. A 350-litre manufacturing and holding tank with high-pressure homogenizer is available to handle both suspensions and solutions. All our canisters are imported from Prespart, UK, combined with high-quality Aptar pumps to ensure precise dose delivery that is key to the treatment of life-threatening illnesses such as Asthma and COPD.

Dry Powder Inhalers (DPI)

The granulation section includes an Alphie blender with unique 3D tumbling 360 degree movement that ensures a homogeneous mixing of the API.

A high-speed ZRO 90T machine with an installed capacity of 1 lakh capsules/hr is capable of filling accurate doses as low as 15 mg to 25 mg. This accuracy is ensured by subjecting the filled capsules to a 100% checkweigher using our high-speed Accura checkweigher. The filled capsules are then packed using our high-speed Parle bottle packing line that is 21 CFR compliant and capable of silica gel pack or canister insertion, screw capping, induction sealing, labelling, and 100% check weighing.

Multi-dose Nasal Spray & Multi-dose Inhalation Solutions

There are 100 & 700-litre jacketed manufacturing tanks with high shear homogenizer capable of manufacturing both clear solutions and suspensions. Holding tanks with similar capacity equipped with CIP and SIP are in place.

Our high-speed nasal spray filling machines are capable of handling both glass and PP vials.

Glass vials undergo washing, depyrogenation, and dry heat sterilization before filling. The 2 head filling lines are capable of filling 50 bottles/minute and equipped with pre- and post-purging of Nitrogen. Filling activities are carried out under LAF-Grade A with a background of Grade C. Following accurate filling with pumps, we have provided 3 different options for valve placements, including

• Crimp-on
• Snap on
• Screw on

The filled and sealed vials are subjected to 100% check weighing and manual visual inspection to reject defective products.

The... products are automatically labelled and packed into cartons for shipment.

This dual line can also manufacture nebulizing solutions filled in glass bottles that are sealed with a ROPP cap.

All the lines on this floor have serialization up to pallet-level aggregation.
